Linda Tirado is an author, journalist and blind photographer. Originally from Utah, she’s lived a bit of everywhere but currently resides in Tennessee with her two kids.
Huffington Post calls her “the woman who accidentally explained poverty to the nation” and her bestselling first book, "Hand to Mouth," is used globally as a textbook in schools. In 2020, she was shot by police while on location reporting in Minneapolis.
She has vehement opinions about food service, makes killer martinis and is hard at work on her second book, which pertains to the history of police violence.
