Lindsay Davenport

Retired World No. 1 Tennis Player & International Tennis Hall of Famer; Olympic Gold Medalist & Winner of 55 WTA Tour Titles

Lindsay Ann Davenport Leach is an American former professional tennis player. In 1993, she was named Tennis magazine's "Rookie of the Year." Since turning pro, she has won three Grand Slam tournaments including the 1998 U.S. Open, 1999 Wimbledon Championships and the 2000 Australian Open. Lindsay also captured an Olympic gold medal at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, GA.

Lindsay has been ranked the world's No. 1 women singles player four times (1998, 2001, 2004 and 2005). She is one of only five women since 1975 to have ever held the year end No. 1 ranking four times. The only other players include tennis icons Chris Evert, Martina Navratilova, Steffi Graf and Monica Seles.

In 2005, TENNIS Magazine ranked her as the 29th-greatest player (male or female) of the preceding 40 years. Davenport was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 2014.

A winner both off the court and on, Lindsay is a popular spokesperson for some of world's biggest companies. She is a wonderful role model for all audiences and embodies the characteristics that with hard work and determination anything is possible.

Davenport became the coach of Madison Keys prior to the commencement of the 2015 season. Already the pair have made an impact together, with Keys advancing to the semi-finals of a Grand Slam tournament for the first time at the 2015 Australian Open, where she upset reigning Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitová en route.
