Lindsey Jacobellis is an Olympic snowboarder from Stratton, Vermont. Jacobellis has snowboarded competitively in Snowboardcross, Snowboard Slopestyle, and Snowboard Halfpipe competitions.

She is a three-time Olympic medalist, a 28 time World Cup Gold Medalist, a ten-time Xgames Gold Medalist Olympian and a 5 time World Champion.

Jacobellis gained a lot of publicity after being nominated for “Sportswoman of the Year” by the Women’s Sports Foundation in 2004, as well as through the Visa Check Card commercials that aired on television during the months before the 2006 Winter Olympics.
