Lisa Oz is a writer, producer and entrepreneur. She was born in Philadelphia, PA, and received her undergraduate degree from Bryn Mawr College before attending Columbia University's Union Theological Seminary. She has been married to Mehmet Oz for over 30 years and together they have four children.

She manages the business of her husband, Dr. Mehmet Oz. She makes frequent appearances on his talk show, The Dr. Oz Show.

She is President of Ozworks LLC, a media and investment consulting company that she founded, and directs Pine Room Pictures, a production company specializing in family friendly media. She is the host of the Lisa Oz Show on Veria Living TV, and hosted The Lisa Oz Show on Oprah Radio on Sirius XM. She is also Editor-at-Large of Hearst Magazine, Dr. Oz, The Good Life. She is also a frequent relationship expert on Good Day New York, Fox 5.

Lisa is an esteemed and respected worldwide authority on the subject of well-being and relationships. She has been on the New York Times six times for her best selling books, including Us: Transforming Ourselves and the Relationships that Matter Most and YOU: The Owner's Manual series.

With her husband, she co-founded HealthCorps, a peer-mentoring, non-profit which delivers a progressive curriculum in nutrition, fitness and mental resilience to almost a million teens in at-risk communities across the country.

CBS Developing Medical Drama From Dr. Mehmet Oz & Safehouse Pictures

CBS has put into development an untitled medical/spiritual drama based on Dr. Harley Rotbart’s book Miracles We Have Seen: America’s Leading Physicians Share Stories They Can’t Forget. The project hails from Joby Harold & Tory Tunnell’s Safehouse Pictures; Dr Mehmet Oz and his wife, producer Lisa Oz; Sony Pictures Television Studios; and CBS Television Studios.
