In television, LisaRaye McCoy appeared in “The Parent ‘Hood” and “In the House” before she landed her starring role in 2003 on the CW Network’s hit comedy series “All of Us.” Produced and inspired by the domestic adventures of Will and Jada Smith, the show focused on adults juggling ex-spousal relationships while maintaining a nurturing environment for their child. McCoy portrayed Neesee James on the show until 2007. After concluding her time in “All of Us,” McCoy starred as Keisha Greene in the VH1 romantic comedy series "Single Ladies" from 2011 to 2015. She has also appeared in several music videos by artists such as Lil' Kim, Ginuwine, and Jamie Foxx.

Off-screen, McCoy became a real-life aristocrat upon marrying Michael Misick, the former Premier of the Turks and Caicos Islands, in 2006. This marriage, however, ended in 2010. As the First Lady, McCoy, also a fashion designer, launched two fashion lines: Luxe & Romance and Xraye. She used her platform to create industry-focused events to increase the island’s appeal as a playground for the rich and famous. She founded the Turks and Caicos Film Festival with fellow actress Jasmine Guy, developed the island’s only movie theater, the state-of-the-art LRaye Cinema; and attracted stars for visits. Following her divorce, McCoy continued to play a significant role in the entertainment industry and has been active since 1992.

McCoy continues to use her celebrity to highlight issues close to her heart. She is the Global Ambassador for the Susan G. Komen race for the Cure foundation, promoting early detection and screenings for women. Additionally, she created the Miss Rayediant Jewels teen pageant to increase self-esteem and mentor girls aged 13-15 and more recently the “Life Rocks” Vision Board Workshops. She visited Kwanyako in Ghana in July 2021 and promised to finance a vocational center for women and a local performance troupe. McCoy resides in Los Angeles, California and is a proud mother to her daughter, Kai Morae Pace.
