In 2012, McGraw-Hill published Crawford's first book, "The Shopper Economy", available through Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble. London-based Expert Marketer Magazine selected the book as a "Must Read" in the young Talent category and a jury awarded it with the 2013 Marketing Book of the Year - Silver Award.

Crawford has written articles for CBS MarketWatch, The National Review, Chief Marketer Magazine, Shopper Marketing Magazine, Chain Drug Review and The HUB. She is a member of RetailWire's Brain Trust Panel, and is also a regular contributor to the e-zine. Crawford has been a featured speaker at the National Grocer’s Association, NRF's Big Show, Shop.org, IIR's Shopper Insights Conference Chicago, P2Pi Summit and Expo, University of Chicago’s Business Roundtable and Iconoculture’s Iconosphere. She has also been selected as the kick-off speaker at numerous corporate innovation off-site conferences.

She has been quoted as a marketing strategy and innovation expert in The Associated Press, US News & World Report, Barron’s, ABC News, Fox Business News, Forbes, The Miami Herald, BrandWeek, The Washington Times, Drug Store News and New Products Magazine. She also taught several semesters as an adjunct marketing professor at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School and New York University’s Stern MBA program. She has an MBA from New York University and a BA in English from Columbia University.
