Liza Henshaw is the President of Global Citizen, a nonprofit which aims to end extreme poverty by 2030. In her role, Henshaw is responsible for leading the mission, vision, values, and strategy of the organization across four continents, along with overseeing expansion plans in key global markets, and leading revenue-generation programs, including corporate partnerships, foundations and individual giving.

In her first year of leadership, Global Citizen's annual musical festival raised $2.4 billion towards its goals. Subsequently, Forbes magazine recognized her achievements, naming her to their "50 Over 50" list.

Henshaw initially joined Global Citizen as the organization’s first Chief Operating Officer, where she was instrumental in building a world-class executive team, identifying areas of expansion and diversifying funding opportunities to achieve record growth. She previously served for over 13 years in leadership positions at the Environmental Defense Fund, including as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Information Officer.

Henshaw is a graduate of Middlebury College.
