Scottish Television Presenter, Journalist & Author; Host of "Lorraine"

Lorraine Kelly is a Scottish television presenter, journalist and author, best known for her ITV show, "Lorraine." Kelly is best known for her weekday show on ITV and has also hosted and presented many other TV programmes including The Last Leg, RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, The STV Children’s Appeal, Wedding Day Winners, Penguin A&E with Lorraine Kelly, Have I Got News For You and The Paul O’Grady Show. She has also appeared as a guest on shows as diverse as Question Time and Never Mind the Buzzcocks. In 2006 she won the RTS Award for best presenter and in 2008 was awarded a “people’s choice” Scottish BAFTA. In addition to her television work, Kelly continues to write weekly columns for Hello! Magazine, and was one of the longest serving columnists for The Sun.

In 2019, Kelly published "Shine," ‘a guide to making every day a brighter one’. This year sees Kelly hosts her dream tv show, Queens for the Night for ITV. To commemorate 25 years since the tragedy, Kelly returned to Dunblane in 2021 for a special documentary for ITV.

Kelly has recently collaborated with WW and Tails.com and has previously worked with Wayfair, JD Williams and Dove.Her two fitness DVD’s – "Lorraine Kelly: Living to the Max" and "Lorraine Kelly: Brand New You," have gone straight to the top of the charts.

Kelly was elected Rector of Dundee University in 2004 – 2007; and was invited to be Honorary Colonel of the Black Watch Cadets in June 2009. In 2019 she was awarded with the title of National Honorary Colonel of the Army Cadet Force (ACF).

She has run the London marathon three times and the New York marathon once, and takes part in the 26 mile “Moonwalk” every year; raising hundreds of thousands of pounds for charity.

She is a keen charity supporter and is a patron of Help for Heroes and the STV Children’s Appeal.

In 2012, Kelly was awarded the OBE, for services to charity and the armed forces, by HM The Queen at Holyrood palace in Edinburgh. In 2020, Kelly also received a CBE for services to broadcasting, journalism and charity.

Kelly lives in Buckinghamshire with her husband Steve, daughter Rosie and alongside the loveable Angus. She is an avid Dundee United supporter.
