Musician, Award-Winning Film Composer, Climate Activist & Environmental Documentary Maker

Louis VI is a musician, award winning film composer, climate activist and environmental documentary maker. His films focus on involving people of colour in climate activism, and creating representation for POC within environmentalist spaces. His collaboration with Tanya Noushka, “The World is (Y)Ours,” looks at climate change from the perspective of first and second generation immigrants in Britain, bringing to light how the actions of western countries have negatively impacted ancestral homes all over the world through environmental and economic exploitation. Most recently Louis VI worked on the #NoRoomForRacism campaign for Premier League which was aired in 168 countries around the world. He was the face of a Footlocker campaign 1.5 years ago which he also composed the music for.

He has worked with brands including, NIKE, Puma, Azimo, Footlocker, Whistles Clothing, Copafeel Breast Cancer Charity, and two shorts films to name a few. Louis VI is politically active in raising support for the New Generations Bill, bringing nature education into classrooms in ethnic minority areas, and part of the Fossil free University with Kumi Nadu and Kenny Bruno. He was included in the top Black & Brown Environmental Activists list by Greenpeace. Louis VI’s other interests include: Ants & hive intelligence in Hymenoptera, marine biology, film photography, basketball, sci-fi, anime, veganism and scuba diving.
