Louisa Bojesen anchors CNBC's live morning program 'Street Signs', hosts the live European Central Bank and Bank of England shows, and reports on MSNBC and NBC. Prior to this, she hosted her flagship afternoon program 'European Closing Bell'.

With CNBC since 2000, Louisa has hosted a series of CNBC's popular shows, including 'Squawk Box Europe', 'Today's Business', 'Morning Exchange' and 'Power Lunch'. She also fronted CNBC popular weekend show 'Investing Edge'.

Apart from interviewing CEOs and industry experts in the studio, Bojesen is equally active on the global business scene. She has a keen interest in the Middle East and helped initiate CNBC's Middle East coverage. She hosted CNBC's televised Middle East Debates and moderated high profile panels on the Middle East for the World Economic Forum.

Bojesen is a very active speaker and moderator. Her list includes: moderating at The Abu Dhabi Investment Forum, chairing panels for the Milken Institute, start-up and private equity events, global oil and gas occasions, working with YPO (Young Presidents' Organization), fireside chats for GoldenTree Asset Management, interviewing politicians and central bankers, chairing panels for the Henry Jackson Initiative on Inclusive Capitalism, moderating panels on the Indian Financial Sector, hosting Investor Relations Awards, moderating at the WTTC in Beijing, hosting the Copenhagen Climate Conference Panel at Hamlet's Castle, covering the World Mobile Congress live out of Cannes and Barcelona (also hosting the prestigious GSM Awards Ceremony) and much more. She also writes for several publications including London's broadly distributed City AM and was a regular columnist in the Danish mainstream magazine 'Money and Your Private Economy'.

Bojesen was one of the main anchors to cover the unfolding of the 2008 financial crisis. She broke the 7/7 London bombings news live on air, and she has regularly reported from trading floors, including Bear Stearns before its demise.

In 2008, Bojesen decided to spend her spare time focusing on climate change and its devastating effects on Africa. She facilitated a trip to Ghana, through Concern Universal, a non-profit charity. The result was a documentary aired on CNBC.

She is a Danish Goodwill Ambassador, has received numerous awards, is often on judging panels, and has been named Career Woman of the Year. Her passions include modern Middle East art and Levant history, and she is an active mentor. She also volunteers weekly at an elementary school.
