The London-based American, Lucy P Marcus is a networker par excellence.

She is the founder and CEO of Marcus Venture Consulting which works with clients around the world in venture capital and private equity funds, institutions and corporations.

She is a Professor at IE Business School in Madrid and also a Fellow at the University of Cambridges Judge Business School.

Educated at Wellesley College and the University of Cambridge, previously she was co-founder and VP of Marketing and Sales of an enterprise management software company; worked at Infinity Financial Technologies; ran the EMEA operations of a communications consulting company; and worked at Price Waterhouse in the East European Services Division and at the US Treasury Departments Economic Policy Division.
