Lucy Rosen is president of a leading marketing, public relations and business development firm based in New York. A visionary in creating and expanding business opportunities for her clients through her expertise in building strategic alliances, Lucy Rosen is also the founder and president of a unique international networking organization for businesswomen. As a successful entrepreneur with more than 21 years of marketing and business experience, Lucy Rosen has helped a wide variety of entrepreneurs, corporations and not-for-profit organizations grow and expand their businesses. Her clients have included major pharmaceutical companies, free-standing medical centers, hospitals and numerous not-for-profit organizations around the country. Lucy Rosen also has a great deal of experience in business-to-business marketing, and works with leading businesses nationwide to orchestrate unique marketing and public relations campaigns and spearhead effective business image enhancement programs. In both 2002, 2003 and 2005, Lucy Rosen was named one of Long Island's "Top 50 Women" by Long Island Business News and was recently inducted into the "Top 50 Women" Hall of Fame. In 1999, Long Island Business News named her to their inaugural "40 Under 40" class, recognizing the region's most successful young professionals under age 40. Lucy Rosen currently serves as Facilitator of the Long Island Chapter of the Women Presidents' Organization, and is an advisory board member of PULSE. She has been a mentor and member of the United States Small Business Administration advisory services department for women in business program, and has taught for the American Women's Economic Development Corporation, teaching women how to succeed in business. Lucy Rosen is also a developing member of the New York City Comptroller Department of Economic Development Task Force for Women and served on the Board of Directors of the New York City chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners. She is a recipient of the Multiple Sclerosis Association/Long Island Chapter Class of 2000 award. Lucy Rosen also currently sits on the board of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society-Long Island Chapter and The Women's Financial Group. In addition to her expertise in marketing and strategic planning, Lucy Rosen also has a great deal of experience in helping her clients, as well as other women entrepreneurs, create new business opportunities through effective networking. Her creative insights -- and proven results have made her a sought-after expert on the value of networking. Through her networking organization, Lucy Rosen has helped thousands of women advance their careers and businesses by helping them to build their networking skills and develop key strategic alliances. Her leadership in this arena prompted her to be selected as a facilitator at a unique entrepreneurship program sponsored by Guardian Life Insurance. The program, called "Girls Going Places" was an inspirational leadership program for underprivileged girls ages 12 to 16. An active participant in numerous civic organizations and philanthropic activities, Lucy Rosen has made serving local community causes an important part of her career. In order to "give something back" to the community, she has created and launched the Business Development Group Gratitude Award, an annual program where she donates a full year of her agency's services to local not-for-profit groups. Through this unique program, she has helped many local organizations with important marketing and public relations assistance -- with the list of Gratitude Award winners recipients including The Nature Conservancy of Long Island, The Nassau County Coalition Against Domestic Violence, Sustainable Long Island, The Center for Science Teaching and Learning and The New Leadership Division at North Shore LIJ Hospital. The author of a series of business "how-to" booklets for women, Lucy Rosen is frequently interviewed by the media and writes for both women's and business publications. In addition, she speaks to groups across the country about current issues in public relations, marketing and effective networking.
