Luis A. Miranda, Jr. serves as an Advisor of Mansa Capital. Mr. Miranda is a Founding Partner of the MirRam Group, LLC. Mr. Miranda and MirRam Group advise Mansa's Management Committee on State and Federal public policy with a special emphasis on the Latino market. He is the Founder and former President at the Hispanic Federation. Mr. Miranda served as a Special Advisor for Hispanic Affairs to former Mayor Edward I. Koch and as Director of the Mayor's Office for Hispanic Affairs from 1984 to 1987. He is a Lead Consultant for several successful political campaigns including the election of Hilary Rodham Clinton and Charles Schumer to the U.S. Senate and the Fernando Ferrer mayoralty campaigns. Mr. Miranda is also Lead Consultant to many candidates to the New York City Council and the New York State Assembly. He is the Chairman of Campaign for Fiscal Equity. He has been a Director of Health Republic Insurance of New York, Corp. since January 2015. He serves as a Director of Upper Manhattan Empowerment Zone Development Corp.

Mr. Miranda serves as a Director of Audubon Partnership for Economic Development, the Amber Charter School, the Upper Manhattan Empowerment Zone, Acción New York, and the Bronx Council of Economic Development. He is a Member of the Community Advisory Boards of JP Morgan Chase and WellCare Health Plans. Mr. Miranda is also a Member of the advisory boards of Pace Poll at Pace University, the Wagner School of Public Policy at New York University, and the Caribbean and Latin American Studies Department at the CUNY Graduate Center. He was the Chairman of the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation from 1993 to 1995. Mr. Miranda also served as the Director of Field Services and Research at the National Action Council for Minorities in Engineering. He pursued graduate work in Psychology at New York University and holds B.A. degree from the University of Puerto Rico.
