Luis Rojas is the manager of the New York Mets. Before being hired to skipper the big league club, Rojas had extensive experience working in the Mets minor league system. The franchise originally hired him in 2007 to manage their Dominican Summer League team and he went on to manage the Gulf Coast League Mets in 2008. Rojas became a coach again with the Savannah Sand Gnats in 2010. He continued to climb up the ranks of the organization after that, managing the GCL Mets again in 2011, the Sand Gnats from 2012-14 and the St. Lucie Mets in 2015. After a two-year stint at the helm of the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, Rojas joined the major league staff as a quality control coach in 2019.
