Luke Soderling

Cancer Surviver, Untrained Survivalist & Motivational Expert

Luke Soderling is an experienced public speaker with a dynamic and engaging method of connecting with his audience. As a master plumber, he has spent nearly 20 years selling services to clients. He has studied sales and interpersonal communications, which have been vital in his ability to connect with and motivate his audience.

In 2017, Soderling was selected as a survivalist on the Discovery Channel's new show, "The Wheel." Soderling survived in 6 places in South America over 60 days alone with no previous survival experience. With ingenuity, hard work, and determination, he excelled in the wild, building complex shelters with the materials available, catching 142 fish, and killing a caiman with a machete. His drive and determination in wilderness survival is only outpaced by the grit and determination he showed as he beat stage 3 thyroid cancer in 2013.

The main lessons Soderling likes to share is that first, we are much stronger than we think we are, and that no matter what life throws at you, you never ever give up. Secondly, it is important to find the small things in life to be thankful for. It's only when we see the small joys around us that we can truly see how good we really have it and be thankful for what we have.

With a lifetime of stories and examples, he has a plethora of analogies to help his audience understand the truths and feel as though they were actually there.
