Lynn Goldman is dean of the George Washington University School of Public Health and Health Services. Goldman, an experienced pediatrician and epidemiologist, is a member of the Institute of Medicine. Prior to joining GW, she was a professor at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, assistant administrator for the Office of Chemical Safety and Pollution Prevention at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and a medical officer at the California Department of Public Health. Goldman received her M.D. from the University of California, San Francisco; a master of science degree in health and medical sciences from the University of California, Berkeley; and an M.P.H. from what was then the Johns Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health.
