Singer; Winner of Season 16 of "The Voice"

Madelyn "Maelyn" Jarmon is a singer who was the winner of season 16 of NBC's singing competition "The Voice," which aired in 2019. For her blind audition, she sang Sting's song "Fields of Gold," and all four of the judges turned around for her, already impressed. From the star-studded panel of Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson and John Legend, Jarmon chose Legend to be her coach for the show.

Jarmon made it to the finale of "The Voice" and was announced as season 16's winner on May 21, 2019, when Jarmon was 26 years old. After her win, Jarmon signed a record deal with Republic Records. Also in 2019, Jarmon became engaged to Johnny Murrell, her boyfriend of five years.
