Manar Al Moneef is NEOM's Chief Investment Officer, responsible for developing and implementing NEOM investment strategy by creating growth initiatives and building partnerships. A proactive and performance-driven professional with over 20 years of cross-sectoral experience, she has built a track record of delivering growth as well as operational and financial improvements in complex situations and organizations.

Prior to joining NEOM, Al Moneef was President & CEO of GE Renewable Energy in the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey (MENAT), where she led the company’s onshore wind business and renewables portfolio. She also held leadership roles in oil and gas and healthcare. Al Moneef was the Director General for Health Care and Life Science at the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA). In her last role there, she was leading knowledge-based investments in Saudi Arabia and positioning the Kingdom globally as a premier investment destination.

Al Moneef has an executive MBA from Harvard Business School and PhD from Leicester University. Forbes named her as one of The Middle East's 100 Most Powerful Businesswomen in 2024.
