Marc Hodosh is an entrepreneur who is the founder, co-host and co-organizer of LIFE ITSELF, a unique conference created in partnership with Dr. Sanjay Gupta and CNN. This event celebrates extraordinary minds and ideas at the intersection of health and medicine. Hodosh's commitment to advancing public understanding of science and technology is reflected in his diverse and impactful career.

Hodosh previously co-created and hosted TEDMED, the health and medical version of the TED Conference, which he successfully sold. His tenure at TEDMED solidified its reputation as a premier event, attracting top-tier speakers and fostering critical discussions on the future of healthcare. Prior to TEDMED, Hodosh led the XPRIZE for Genomics, a $10 million competition designed to inspire rapid and cost-effective genome sequencing technology, building on the success of the $10 million Ansari Space XPRIZE.

Beyond his work with high-profile conferences, Hodosh has been a consultant to inventor Dean Kamen and chaired the Boston region's FIRST Robotics competition, a non-profit foundation aimed at inspiring high school students to pursue careers in science and technology. Additionally, he founded and sold ID One, a company specializing in facial recognition technology for the U.S. military and intelligence communities.

Hodosh's interests extend to human aging and longevity, health and media, technology, artificial intelligence, and aviation.
