Marc Ryan is an American comedian.

His professional career started when he went off to college at LSU.  However, he started telling jokes at a very young age.  His career as a comedian got off to a very rough start.  While in college, Marc would sneak off and perform on the road.  He was struggling financially and took on a new project.  He would write, direct, and star in his very own Sitcom, "Barely Makin' It".

It became a hit in his hometown of Baton Rouge and drew the attention of Brandon Tartikoff, former head of NBC Entertainment. From this encounter with Tartikoff, Marc was hired to write for this TV legend. Marc's experience continued to grow as he was hired to be on Baton Rouge radio, something he would continue to do until he graduated from LSU.

After graduation, Marc decided it was time to take on Comedy full time and has been on the road ever since.  Comedy Central is currently spotlighting Marc as one of the Best of the Improv on their web site. In 2001, he was also on the hit UPN sitcom "The Parkers."

Today, he travels all around the country performing, but currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
