Marc Samwer is the CEO and Managing Director of the European Founders Fund (EFF), a private venture capital firm Marc runs with his two brothers. The three brothers are investors in many consumer Internet businesses in Europe and the U.S.

Before EFF, Marc and his brothers were the CEOs and founders of Jamba!/Jamster, the internationally successful wireless entertainment company acquired by VeriSign in June 2004. In 1999, Marc and his brothers started Alando which became eBay Germany, eBay's most successful international marketplace.

Marc and his brothers were Managing Directors of eBay Germany. Marc studied law in Germany and Switzerland and also received executive education at Stanford University and the London Business School. In 2003, Marc received the prestigious Eisenhower Fellowships award.
