Marcel Vigneron is a chef best known for his use of gastronomy and for being the runner-up on the second season of Top Chef.
Following his time on Top Chef he landed his own show in 2011 on Syfy called Marcel's Quantum Kitchen. The show followed his start up of his molecular gastronomy catering company called Modern Global Tasting.
Vigneron later competed on Top Chef: All-Stars in 2011, on The Food Network's The Next Iron Chef in 2012, The Food Network's "Superstar Sabotage: Heat 2" on the show Cutthroat Kitchen in 2014 and Guy's Grocery Games: All-Stars and A-Lister Dinners in 2015.
Vigneron attended the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) in New York and achieved his associate degree in Culinary Arts. Serving as a teacher's assistant at the Culinary Institute of America, Marcel studied molecular gastronomy and butchery among other complex topics.
