Marcia has a Master's degree ( M.A.) in Psychology and Community counseling . She is an adjunct professor at Shawnee State University. Marcia is the Executive director of "Time Out for Me, Inc." youth personal development programs. She has over 20 years of experience with the Social Security Administration as a Claims Representative, Technical expert, E.E.O. counselor, and Public Affairs specialist.

Marcia provides a personal development radio program giving community members personal growth strategies to enhance their life each month. She is a member of the American Counseling Association and the NSA Ohio chapter and is a former member of their board of directors. She is a Certified Laughter Leader. Marcia embraces diversity and is very involved with church and community members of diversed backgrounds encouraging interdependence to create a win/ win for all.
