Marco Pierre White is fondly known as 'The Godfather of modern cooking' and has been dubbed the first celebrity chef, enfant terrible of the UK. He mentored several of today’s great chefs including Gordon Ramsay and Heston Blumenthal and after hanging up his apron in 1999 Marco has developed his own portfolio of over 50 restaurants (and a hotel). After hitting our screens in 2007 as Head Chef of Hell's Kitchen UK, he has frequently fronted Marco Pierre White’s Kitchen Wars, a show that saw couples battle it out to "conquer customer, critic and chef".
