Marcos Galperin is the founder, President, and CEO of MercadoLibre, Inc., Latin America’s leading e-commerce technology company, founded in August 1999.

Prior to founding MercadoLibre Inc., he worked in the Fixed Income Department at J.P. Morgan Securities Inc., in New York (June-August 1998) and previously worked at YPF SA, an integrated oil company, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he was a Futures and Options Associate and managed YPF’s currency and oil derivatives program from 1994 to 1997.

Galperin serves as the Board Member and Vice President of Endeavor Argentina, a non-profit organization, focused on transforming the economies of emerging markets by identifying and supporting high-impact entrepreneurs around the world. Board Member of Globant S.A., a technology service provider focused on delivering software solutions by leveraging emerging technologies and trends that is listed on the NYSE; Onapsis, a cyber-security company and St. Andrew´s University.
