Margaret graduated from FIT, NYC with a degree in Marketing and Fashion Design and worked at the heart of the infamous New York Garment Center as a dress designer. It was here Margaret’s love of fashion and print developed and her desire to launch her own label began. She literally launched her line, Macbeth Collection by Margaret Josephs, from her kitchen table. Since it’s inception in 1999 with a capsule collection of home accessories, the company has since grown into a global lifestyle brand.

In 2015 she introduced Candie Couture by Margaret Josephs and then in 2016 House Candie by Margaret Josephs brands to her portfolio as sister brands to her wildly successful Macbeth Collection. 2019 marks the 20th anniversary of her launch and she celebrated by adding a signature clothing collection under her namesake label, Margaret Josephs and looks forward to introducing a jewelry collection this Fall 2019. Her belief is that everyone deserves a little fabulosity in life and makes it her mission to bring her devoted followers fashion forward products that embody the term “Luxury for Less”.

Margaret Josephs is a true entrepreneur and her growing stable of brands, all of which are an extension of her personal style, fully embody her mantra “Caviar dreams; Tuna fish budget”. This concept resonates with all inspiring entrepreneurs and she looks forward to expanding this concept in 2020 to a podcast and delivering that message through seminars to her loyal fans and budding business moguls.

She joined the cast of the top rated Bravo show Real Housewives of New Jersey in 2017 and instantly became known for her quick fire one liners and no nonsense approach. She is truly enjoying the ride and looks forward to more adventures with her Jersey Girls!

Margaret is grateful to be able to use her platform to bring awareness to causes that are close to her heart. Margaret featured her partnership with Brave Gowns by creating the "Hospital Heroes" gala raising funds for Northwell Health & Cohen Children's Hospital which was on season 9 of Real Housewives. She was honored at the 2019 Pride celebration by receiving the keys to the City of Englewood from Mayor Michael Wildes for her continued support of the LGBTQ community. In addition to riding the Bravo Word Pride float in the 50th annual Pride Parade Margaret is an avid supporter of Live Out Loud, which inspires and empowers LGBTQ youth. Another important theme to Margaret is that of women's empowerment. As an FIT graduate entering the garment center in the 90's Margaret was no stranger to forging her way as a strong woman in typically a man's world. After having her child she realized she didn't want to go back to a career that would take away from time with her family and didn't support her being a mom so she launched her own company. Margaret has never compromised her identity even when she was told she had to in order to succeed and today she has been featured on Fox Business News proudly wearing her pigtails. To this day Margaret runs her company, of all women, to empower her team and help them achieve a work/life balance where the women can bring children to the office and be themselves, pigtails and all.

Margaret is a lifestyle expert and can be seen regularly on network TV sharing her tips and picks for organizing, accessorizing and glamorizing!

Life is a 24/7 madhouse at Margaret’s with the team working out of her home. Her belief is that women should feel empowered in their career yet not compromised as a mother so the office is full of energy; between baby Nino accompanying his mom Lexi, Margaret’s Creative Director, to work and Marge’s yorkie baby Bella it’s non stop crazy! Whilst the team work to create new products in her signature prints Margaret is busy renovating her estate with the love of her life Super Joe (albeit slowly…and against his will). Their home is from 1906 and is definitely a labor of love but Margaret is determined to have a real closet by 2020! And as if tackling a challenging renovation isn’t enough the couple are constantly attempting to tame her mom; Marge Sr who has reinvented herself the modern day working girl with a big job in New York City and a sassy single attitude to match.

The Marge continues to do it all on the daily; living large as the Marge-in-Charge proving she truly is "Powerhouse in Pigtails".
