MARGIT HERRMANN is a 3rd degree black belt in Karate with 25 years of martial arts experience and a European champion. She started training at the Germany headquarters for Karate and was trained by numerous Martial Arts word champions and leaders in the European world. Margit intensified her studies in the US training in weapons ( broad sword, double sword and bamboo staff ) mixed martial arts, kickboxing and ultimate street fighting. Web She currently teaches Women’s self defense and rape prevention at the University of Santa Barbara. Margit has 20 years of experience and is a Certified Personal Trainer by NASM. Margit holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the Munich University of Applied Sciences and a Master’s Degree from the Karate Academy in Germany. She also hold a Apex personal training certification through a major national fitness chain. Margit also is a certified rape prevention trainer and worked with the German police department in the field a crime protection and rape prevention. Furthermore she has extensively worked with clients in Drug and Alcohol addiction treatment to rebuild self esteem and confidence, help release anger and anxiety and support people to regain their joy for a healthy life style. Margit trained clients range from beginners to professional athletes, all age ranges, rehabilitation patients, expecting moms, addiction and recovery patients.
