Margo Berman
Author, Award-Winning Creativity & Marketing Expert
Margo Berman, creator of the tactikPAK® series, is a recognized Professor of advertising and a Kauffman Faculty Scholar at Florida International University. She is a national and international award-winning copywriter who founded Global Impact, a boutique advertising agency. She developed campaigns for clients such as Alamo Rent a Car, American Express and Banana Boat Skin Care Products. In addition, she is a dynamic corporate trainer who presents exciting, interactive workshops in advertising, branding, creativity and writing.
Her first book, "Street-Smart Advertising: How to Win the Battle of the Buzz" (2010, 2nd ed.), an overview of advertising from strategy and concept to copywriting and design, is also available in Russian.
Her second book, "The Brains Behind Great Ad Campaigns" (2009), co-authored with Robyn Blakeman, explores the creative collaboration between copywriters and art directors.
Her third advertising book, "The Copywriter’s Toolkit: The Complete Guide to Strategic Copy" (2012), examines all aspects of copywriting for every medium. All her books are available globally including Asia, Europe, South Africa, Canada and Australia.
Her fourth book, "MetaMind Yoga: Amazing Journey to a Joyful Life" (2013), written with Richard Israel, guides readers through an inner search for peace through retrospection and Mental Asanas (exercises).
Berman is now writing another book: "The Content and Copywriting. The Complete Toolkit for Strategic Marketing". She will also creating "Mental Peanut Butter: MARGOisms…Ideas that Stick to the Roof of Your Brain".
Following her suite of ten tactikPAK® ebooks and three educational apps, Berman’s fourteenth book, "The Blueprint for Strategic Advertising" (2016), focuses the strategic thinking behind multiplatform campaigns.

As an award-winning educator, Margo creates usable materials that enable applied learning. In 2021, she won the Outstanding Teaching Award in the Communications Department.
