With many yearscorporate experience, Margot has become a trusted business advisor for many of Australias leading organisations. Using commercial acumen and communication skills, Margot advises senior executives and professionals in persuasive and effective communication strategies and behaviour.

Margot complements this with practical facilitation and chairing of meetings and business events and is an engaging guest speaker.

Margot has achieved the highest international accreditation as a professional speaker, a Certified Speaking Professional (CSP). Margot was awarded the WA National Speaker Association Speaker of the Year 2009.

A firm believer in the benefit of networking and the sharing of ideas, Margot brings to her clients contemporary leadership and business best practice through her associations such as the CEO forum The Executive Connection (TEC), National Speakers and the Institute of Company Directors. Margot is the President of the WA Chapter of the National Speakers Association.

Margot is an accredited Executive Coach and is also a Certified Practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).

As the Director of Positive Persuasion, Margot has experience in a broad cross-section of industries. She has worked closely with organisations including BHP Billiton, Bunnings, the Chamber of Minerals & Energy, CSBP, Doric, the Royal Automobile Club of WA, Nulsen, Leightons HWE, RIO Tinto, Water Corporation, Woodside Energy and Wesfarmers. Her assignments have included coaching a senior executive team to lift the professionalism of their presentations, stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Margot is passionate about people. She loves the privilege of working very closely with people to encourage and inspire them to realise their potential to be the best they can be.

Outside her work, Margot is a proud mother of two beautiful girls and an aspiring tee-ball coach and umpire. She has a keen interest in viticulture and part owns a vineyard in the south of Western Australia, where you might find her sampling the produce or getting into a good book. Margot also serves on the Foundation Board for Methodist Ladies College and was a founder of their Women Who Lead program.
