Leveraging her experience as an entrepreneur, executive, engineer, investor, and coach, Maria Flynn works with select emerging and high-growth leaders, startups, investors, and entrepreneurial support organizations, helping them to make opportunities happen. Flynn serves as the founder and CEO of Ambiologix, a business consulting service that guides entrepreneurs in building, scaling, and selling their businesses. She is also the co-founder and advisory board chair at Digital Health KC, a company that supports existing companies, from start-ups to the largest enterprises, while attracting digital health businesses to the KC region.

As CEO of Orbis Biosciences, Flynn built a technology company that improved pharmaceutical manufacturing, won awards for its novel innovation, and was acquired by Adare Pharmaceuticals. As Managing Director of Techstars Kansas City, Flynn invested in and coached startups in health tech, biotech, fintech, deep tech, and consumer tech. She has worked with founders from over 30 companies and loves being a business growth guide. Flynn is the author of "Make Opportunity Happen: The Entrepreneur's Guide to Align Your Own Stars."

Flynn earned a BS in Civil Engineering from Kansas State University, an MS in Environmental Engineering from Stanford University, and an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
