Maria Jacketti founded Mountain Laurel Copywriting and Content Creation in 2010. Her work life encompasses nearly three decades as a professional writer and over 25 years as a teacher, primarily in higher education. She has had eight books and over 2,000 articles in print. In 2017, one of Jacketti's articles was awarded a Keystone Award (Pennsylvania's equivalent of the Pulitzer Prize), 2nd place in the category of breaking news. She offers intensive workshops in business writing, for groups of up to 10 students per session. Up to three sessions can be engineered to fit into a nine-hour teaching day.
