Maria Popova is noted for creating the blog "Brain Pickings," later renamed "The Marginalian," where she provides coverage on a range of topics such as literature, art, philosophy, and culture. In 2012, her website was included in the Library of Congress's permanent web archive. However, her written work extends beyond her blog, having contributed to reputable publications like The New York Times, The Atlantic, and Wired UK.
