Mariam Naficy is a serial entrepreneur who founded Minted, an online marketplace of premium design goods created by independent artists and designers. She invented Minted’s crowdsourced and curated marketplace model with the mission of building an e-commerce platform that continuously offers fresh goods across limitless categories.

Naficy has pioneered consumer Internet models since 1998, when she co-founded the first online cosmetics retailer, Eve.com. She is the Co-Founder and Board Chairman of Tonic.xyz, a fine art NFT gallery and community focused on generative art collections. She is also the Founder and Managing Partner of Heretic Ventures, a venture studio building a presence in AI. Forbes magazine named her to their "50 Over 50" Investment list in 2023.

Earlier in her career, Naficy worked as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs; led project management at Movielink, a 5-studio consortium that served as one of the first downloadable movie services; and as Vice President and General Manager at The Body Shop, launching their first e-commerce business.

She sits on the Board of Every Mother Counts, Medium, Victoria’s Secret, and Minted, and is a member of the Stanford Graduate School of Business Advisory Council.
