Marie Osmond has spent 5 decades in the entertainment business as a singer, television performer, talk show host, dancer, actor, author, entrepreneur, and public speaker. She has remained a recognizable figure throughout the globe due to her long-standing career.

Osmond's debut single, “Paper Roses,” reached the #1 spot on two Billboard charts, placing her in a select class of musicians. She has enjoyed success as a country and pop music artist, particularly during the 1970s and 1980s. Throughout her career, she has released multiple albums and singles, including the albums "I Can Do This" in 2010 and "Music Is Medicine" in 2016, which debuted at No. 10 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. Her most recent album, "Unexpected" released in December 2021, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Classical Crossover chart.

Osmond has been a multiple gold and platinum-selling artist and CMA winner, garnering numerous Billboard chart-topping singles and albums. She has also won two Grammy awards and has been nominated for the American Music Award for Favorite Country Duo/Group with Donny Osmond. In addition to her solo work, she has collaborated with other artists, such as Dan Seals, on the song "Meet Me in Montana."

Osmond's career spans television, radio, film, literature, live concerts, and Broadway performances. She has hosted television shows like "Donny & Marie," which she co-hosted with her brother Donny from 1976 to 1979, and the talk show "The Talk" from 2019 to 2020. She has also appeared in various films and TV shows, including "The Talk," "Fantasy Island," and the TV movie The Gift of Love in 1978. She starred in Broadway musicals during the mid-1990s, playing roles like Anna Leonowens in "The King and I."

As an author, Osmond has published multiple books, with three of them featured on the New York Times bestsellers list: "Behind the Smile: My Journey Out of Postpartum Depression," "Might As Well Laugh About It Now," and "The Key Is Love." Beyond written works, she provides a weekly Sunday Message via her Facebook page and Instagram.

Osmond has a long history of philanthropic work. She co-founded the non-profit organization Children's Miracle Network in 1983, which has raised over 7 billion dollars for children to date. She also released an album "I Can Do This" in 2010 with all proceeds donated to Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.

Osmond had a long-running residency in Las Vegas with her brother Donny, their show Donny & Marie at the Flamingo Hotel ran from September 2008 to November 2019. The Donny & Marie Show won Best Show, Best Performer, and Best All Around Show awards in 2012, 2013, and 2014. Besides, she has been a spokesperson for various brands, including skincare and emergency food companies.

Osmond has been married and divorced, and she remarried her first husband, Stephen Lyle Craig, in 2011. She has made public her decision to leave her fortune to charity upon her death.
