Marina Koren is a staff writer at The Atlantic. She covers space, including astronaut missions, robotic explorers, and the solar system and has reported from Cape Canaveral, SpaceX’s launch site in south Texas, and NASA headquarters in Washington, DC. Previously, Koren was senior associate editor for The Atlantic. Prior to this, she was a staff correspondent, and then news editor, at National Journal. She graduated from the University of Delaware with a bachelor’s degree in English, psychology, and journalism in 2012.
