Born in Las Angeles and raised in Big D, marisela moved to NYC at the tender age of 19.

She recorded 3 albums in 4 different languages for her father (he's a children's music songwriter) by the time she was 15 and she's been writing music as long as she can remember.

At the University of North Texas, she studied vocal jazz and knew after 2 years.

While in NYC, she survived 15 call backs for RENT, 4 call backs for Aida, vocal nodules and then came to her senses about her music and started writing seriously.

She has been in and had numerous bands and she currently plays many venues around Dallas.
