Marjorie Kelly is the author of several books about running mission-controlled enterprises. She specializes in financing and owning such businesses and non-profits.

Kelly has led research and consulting projects dealing with CSR (corporate social responsibility), impact investing and rural development.

Kelly was a co-founder of Business Ethics magazine, where she served as president for 20 years. She has a bachelor's degree in English and a master's degree in journalism from the Unniversity of Missouri.
