Mark Adams is the founder of the world's first social media agency and co-founder, alongside Sean Parker of Facebook, of the largest social publishing network in the world, theAudience. He has been at the forefront of the new media revolution since Facebook was a platform that only existed for students at Harvard. theAudience currently publishes over 6,000 unique items of content per month across the largest publishing network in social media, reaching up to a billion people and delivering 5-10 billion separate impressions. Using a suite of proprietary analytics tools and by leveraging the power of the network, they monetize the opportunities that emerge from this expansive reach.

Adams also founded The Social Media Unit at University College London (UCL) to further advise on policy issues that relate to social media.
