Mark Gregston is the founder and executive director of Heartlight Ministries, a residential counseling center located in Longview, Texas, which provides support to struggling teens. With over 38 years of experience, Mark has dedicated his life to helping adolescents and their families navigate challenges through faith-based guidance.

Heartlight offers a structured environment for personal growth, where teens participate in counseling, schooling, and various recreational activities. Mark also extends his expertise through the "Parenting Today’s Teens" radio program, which provides practical parenting advice and has become widely popular, broadcast on over 1,600 stations across North America.

Mark's work combines humor, wisdom, and practical insights, focusing on building meaningful parent-teen relationships. He is an accomplished author and speaker, conducting seminars and retreats aimed at providing parents with tools to better connect with their teens. Mark and his wife, Jan, have two children and enjoy their role as grandparents. They live on the Heartlight campus, continuing their hands-on approach to transforming the lives of the young people under their care.

Before launching Heartlight in 1988, Mark served as a youth pastor, worked with the Christian organization Young Life, and developed a home for troubled teens at a Christian sports camp.
