The HBO movie received 12 Emmy nominations, winning five Emmy awards including one for outstanding TV movie and five Golden Globe nominations and winning two awards including one for best miniseries/TV movie. Halperin and Heilemanns new book about the 2012 Presidential campaign, Double Down: Game Change 2012, will be published Fall, 2013. HBO has optioned the rights to the new book for a movie.
