Mark Kanegis is an award-winning photographer who has made appearances on CNN, FOX, NBC, and ABC. He is author of the #1 best-seller book “New England Views: Coastal Massachusetts,” published by Globe Pequot Press. He is founder and owner of New England Views, with a travel channel on YouTube, and a website featuring New England photography. Through his photography business, Kanegis was a lead sponsor for The Jimmy Fund, during the annual Jimmy Fund Telethon at Fenway Park.
Kanegis also co-founded the highly successful company The Film Detective, a leader in the streaming classic-film distribution industry. Launched in his hometown of Rockport Massachusetts, The Film Detective gained wide popularity, and was purchased by American entertainment company Cinedigm (NASDAQ: CIDM). Previously, Kanegis was Global Partner Relations Manager at Genuity, a leading Fortune 5000 Internet infrastructure and e-business service provider. He also has experience as a radio host, and has covered the Red Sox from the press-box at Fenway Park.
