Mark L. Walberg

Actor, TV Personality and Game Show Host; Known for "Antiques Roadshow"

Host Mark L. Walberg started his TV career as an assistant at Dick Clark Productions and quickly moved in front of the camera as the announcer for the popular game show "Shop Til You Drop" on Lifetime Television, and as host of "Burnt Toast," a sports mag show on ESPN. It was there Brandon Tartikoff noticed his work and that association produced the nationally syndicated The Mark Walberg Show. Since then Walberg has hosted an array of popular talk, reality, competition, and game shows including GSN’s "Russian Roulette," FOX’s "Test the Nation," TBS’ "House Rules" and "The Mansion" and CMT’s "Your Chance To Dance." He also hosted FOX’s hit "Temptation Island," the highest rated show in the history of the network at the time.

In addition to his on-camera work, Walberg has also realized his ambition to produce. He created and produced "Sunday Dinner," the first original series for the Odyssey Network. He currently has several shows in different states of development under the producing banner of ReMARKable TV Shows, Inc. He also directed and produced the feature-length documentary "On The Road with The Young Americans."

Currently, Mark is thrilled to be starting his 8th season on the Emmy-nominated series "Antiques Roadshow" for PBS. For Walberg this is a chance to be part of a show he was a fan of long before he was given the opportunity to take over the hosting duties. “It’s a constant journey of discovery!” says Walberg.

Mark is also proud to serve as a member of the board of directors of Goodwill Industries of Southern California and as a member of the Academic Advisory Board of the Young Americans College. He has been married to his wife, Robbi Morgan Walberg for nearly 25 years and has two beautiful teenage children, Goldie, 16, and aspiring ballerina and Morgan, 19, a national Navy ROTC sholarship recipient.
