Mark Turner is life-long motivator and successful businessman. His career began in 1980 as telecommunications engineer and at an early age was selected to be the first General Manager for DSC Communications for its manufacturing operations on the island of Puerto Rico.

Mark spent over 18 years with DSC and held executive positions within a variety of technology branches. He spent this time building customer relationships and mentoring engineers in their growth within their field of study.

In 2001, Mark moved companies and took a position as the Vice-President of Operations for Value-Added Communications (VAC). In 2008, Mark was named President and Chief Operating Officer for VAC and remained in that position until the company was acquired by GTL. He remained with GTL for 3 years as Sr. Vice-President of Sales and retired on May 30, 2014.

Early in life, Mark took a class in High School that utilized the book “See You At the Top” by Zig Ziglar. Mark says that he hated to read in school and only read enough to pass all the necessary tests and was quite good at that. He goes on to say that he remembers reading only book his entire time in school and fortunately that book changed his life. That book was “See You At The Top”.

Since that time, Mark has motivated an untold number of people through his mentoring and teaching. He loves creating positive change in peoples lives.

In 2013, Mark was selected by the Ziglar Corporation to become one of only a few people in the world to receive the stamp of Ziglar Legacy Certified Speaker and Trainer. Mark completed this course and was officially recognized in April of 2014.

Mark is married to his high school sweetheart, Cathy, and they enjoyed their 34 year anniversary this year. They have two children, Grant and Katie who live in the Dallas metroplex area.
