Dr. Gorman is an innovative, experienced healthcare services executive with a strong track record of success in growing companies. She has repeatedly developed strategies, in various sized companies, and achieved results through collaboration and management of employees and board members. Her extensive knowledge of the healthcare user and buyer, provider networks and practices enable strategies that develop new markets and models. These strategies have included capital raises and use of debt as well as developing products and teams. She has deep expertise in multi-state health care service delivery (recruitment, revenue growth, regulatory), and technology designed to differentiate these offerings. Her board experience includes serving as a board member and on various committees as well as board management to include member recruitment and formation of the necessary committees.

She recently completed her role as Interim-CEO of TripleCare where she successfully sold it to Curavi Health. She was recruited to TripleCare in 2017 and asked by the board to evaluate future company opportunities. While at TripleCare, Dr. Gorman developed a comprehensive business strategy that resulted in doubling sales closes and increased revenue of 30% by focusing the product offering, standardizing pricing, and expanding into four new states. In alignment with the board and key stakeholders, she led the business through the change and sale process, subsequently, identifying an investment banking firm and managing the sale process.

Within the medical profession, Dr. Gorman has practiced as an intensivist and a hospitalist, and held numerous leadership positions locally and nationally in these specialties. A former president and six-year board member of the Society of Hospital Medicine, she was awarded the Master in Hospital Medicine in 2010 for her contributions in that field. She is a current member of the American College of Physician Executives, the Society of Critical Care Medicine and the American Telemedicine Association.

In recognition of her leadership and entrepreneurial accomplishments, Dr. Gorman was named one of the Top 25 Women in Healthcare by Modern Healthcare in 2009, and selected for Ernst & Young’s 10 Entrepreneurial Winning Women in the United States in 2011. She was named among the Distinguished Alumni of the Olin School of Business by Washington University in 2013.

Dr. Gorman received her M.D. degree from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, her M.B.A. degree from the Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis, and her B.A. degree in chemistry and biology (cum laude) from Saint Louis University. She obtained her board certifications in Critical Care Medicine and Internal Medicine.
