Mary is a Certified Public Accountant. She has been a genealogist since 2000, becoming interested in her roots in anticipation of an extended trip to Ireland. She has a certificate from the Genealogy and Family History program at the University of Washington. Marys article, Lt. Mark L. Golden: A Case Study in World War II Research, appeared in the May/June 2012 issue of Family Chronicle. She likens her genealogy research to the logic of a Sudoku puzzle with a big, juicy payoff at the end.
