Matt is an entrepreneur, pilot, software engineer, speaker, and Guinness World Record holder studying at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He started his first company, AnySIMiPhones, in 2007 at age 12 before selling it a few weeks later and unlocking tens of thousands of iPhones in scores of countries. In high school, Matt moved on to financial analysis with supercomputers and automated bitcoin arbitrage. Since his first solo flight at age 16, he has earned a commercial pilot certificate with single-engine land, single-engine sea, instrument, and glider ratings and logged nearly 900 hours in the air. This past summer, at age 19, he combined his lifelong passions for both aviation and computer science to become the youngest person to solo circumnavigate the Earth by air in a bid to promote computer science education worldwide.
