FOX Sports 1 College Football Analyst; Former American Football Quarterback

Matthew Leinart played college football for the University of Southern California Trojans, leading them to two national championships.

In 2004, Leinart's junior year at USC, he won the Heisman Trophy. Matthew Leinart also won the inaugural Manning Award for college quarterbacks in the same season.

Leinart was named the Rose Bowl MVP after he went 23-of-34 for 327 yards, throwing three touchdowns and catching a touchdown of his own. The Trojans claimed the AP national championship.

Leinart was considered one of the top NFL prospects of the 2006 draft class. He was picked 10th by the Arizona Cardinals. Leinart spent four seasons with the Cardinals, primarily as backup for Kurt Warner. On September 6, 2010, the NFL announced that Leinart signed a one-year contract to back up Matt Schaub with the Houston Texans. After two years, Leinart then signed with the Oakland Raiders.

After completing his career as a professional football player, Leinart became a College Football Analyst for FOX Sports.
