Christian Worship Leader, Singer-Songwriter & Author; Best Known for his Two-Time Grammy Award-Winning Single "10,000 Reasons"

Matt Redman is an English Christian worship leader, singer-songwriter, and author. Redman converted to Christianity at the age of 10 and learned to play guitar at St Andrew's Chorleywood. He has released 16 albums and written 8 books. Notably, he's also co-founded Soul Survivor, a global Christian movement and yearly music festival aimed at youth.

He is best known for his two-time Grammy Award-winning single, "10,000 Reasons (Bless the Lord)," and has helped start three church plants. In addition to these achievements, Redman has won thirteen Gospel Music Association's Dove Awards, and his songs have been covered by various contemporary Christian music artists such as Tasha Cobbs, Leonard, and Natasha Bedingfield. His music has charted on the Billboard charts, receiving certifications including Gold and Platinum. His work has also been recognized by the Church of England for his contribution to the worship life of the Church.

Redman's books include 2001's "The Unquenchable Worshipper," 2017's "10,000 Reasons: Stories of Faith, Hope, and Thankfulness Inspired by the Worship Anthem," and others. He has also been involved in the "Passion" album series. Outside of making music, Redman has collaborated with other Christian musicians, including Chris Tomlin and Tim Hughes, and authored multiple books on Christian worship, making significant contributions to the genre.

In 2020, Redman signed with Integrity Music and released new music, including the long-awaited single "The Same Jesus" and a new live album. His music has consistently charted on Billboard's Top Album Sales, Bubbling Under Hot 100, Hot Christian Songs, Christian Airplay, and Christian Digital Song Sales.

Redman is married to songwriter and author Beth Redman; they have been together for 15 years and have five children. Although Redman was born and raised in the United Kingdom, he and his family reside in southern California.
