Matthew d'Ancona is an award-winning journalist and author, currently political columnist for the Sunday Telegraph, GQ and Evening Standard. He was previously editor of The Spectator 2006-2009, where he set up the hugely influential Coffee House blog.

Author of three acclaimed novels, most recently Nothing to Fear (Hodder), Matthew is currently working on a history of England with John Cleese and writing a script for American television with Sarah Standing on the art dealing partnership of Bernard Berenson and Joseph Duveen. He was elected a Fellow of All Souls College, Oxford in 1989 and was on the Digital Britain steering group.
