Maureen Broderick is a passionate advocate for women and girls and is hoping to move the needle a bit closer to gender parity through her organization, WorldWideWomen, and their annual Girls' Festival for girls and their families.

WorldWideWomen is an online global resource directory which lists over 6,000 organizations and services exclusively for women in 23 cities and 13 countries. They bring their website to life through the annual Girls' Festivals -- a day of power and possibility for thousands of girls and their families. Their mission is to connect women and girls to valuable organizations and services that support and empower their lives. Through their online directory of resources and their local festivals, WorldWideWomen brings inspiration, information, and powerful life-changing connections to women worldwide.

Broderick is also the Development Director for SHE-CAN. SHE-CAN brings talented young women from post-conflict countries to the US for full four year college scholarships with dedicated mentor teams, and then transitions them back to their countries in leadership positions. Her role will be to help expand their reach to additional countries, and increase the number of scholars, colleges, mentors and donors.
